PHOTOMERGE VERSION 4.0 INSTALLATION GUIDE

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION

If you already have PhotoMerge installed on your computer and you wish to

upgrade you will need to know the version of software you are running.

If you are running PhotoMerge Version 4.0 and you HAVE NOT created any orders on your computer you can install the software without having to backup any files.

IMPORTANT

If you are running any version of PhotoMerge Version and you HAVE created any orders on the machine; you need to BACKUP or Copy the PhotoMerge.mdb to a different location. The  PhotoMerge.mdb file is located in the PicturePackages directory. Once you have created a copy of the PhotoMerge.mdb file in another location you can install the software. After you have installed the new version you will need to place the backed up PhotoMerge.mdb database file back in the PicturePackages directory. If you are running any version of Photomerge and want to reinstall the software it is always imperative that you make a backup copy of the PhotoMerge.mdb file prior to upgrading. It is very important that you read and follow the above instructions. If you have created labels this year and have shot a school using the data in PhotoMerge you must backup the database file to another location before upgrading. After the installation simply copy the Photomerge.mdb file back in the PicturePackages.com directory. Please feel free to call if you have any questions before upgrading your software.
